Marla Saxton


Marla Saxton’s career has focused on building high-performing teams, developing leaders, and crafting communication strategies to turn workplace cultures into competitive advantages. Her expertise lies in executing strategies, leveraging middle management, and connecting people to make organizational visions a reality. She combines her insights and experience from internal operations and external client service to help clients anticipate and address common challenges on their path to a healthy workplace.

With a foundation as a communication strategist and more than a decade of experience in roles dedicated to improving engagement, adoption, and accountability, Marla works as a practical partner to operationalize organizational mission, vision and values into tangible behaviors and clearly stated expectations. Her approach includes a deep understanding of the different generations in the workplace and how they must be leveraged to take advantage of the untapped potential of multigenerational teams.

Marla previously served as the strategy manager of people growth and engagement for a Top 50 public accounting firm. There, she served on the leadership team to manage the strategy, teams and budgets for: recruiting, onboarding and new hire experience, ongoing team member development, leadership pipelines, internal communication, and internal coaching. She was a special advisor to the executive partner, personnel committee, and steering committee for improving sense of belonging.

Marla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. She is also a graduate of the Disney Institute’s Approach to Employee Engagement program and Gentelligence Academy.
